Do You See What I See?

Yep, this is a 3-story, 30-foot tall/wide eyeball. It is located in Dallas, TX and while some may see it as art there are others that might view it as an eyesore. (This is where you're supposed to chuckle.)

This "eyeball" is VERY large, but it is not all-seeing. In fact, it cannot see anything... it's made of fiberglass. On the other hand, while the Lord God may not have a physical eye, He does see everything, at all times, in all places, past, present and future. How about that for vision?!

The Bible tells us that the eyes of the Lord are actively and constantly searching the world for people who have hearts for Him. His desire is to encourage those individuals and give them support.

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward Him. (2 Chronicles 16:9)

It was not easy living for God in a secular society thousands of years ago and it is still not an easy assignment. God keeps watch over those who fear, honor and respect Him... those whose hope is found in His unending love.

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love... (Psalm 33:18)

But while God's eyes are certainly on the righteous, He is also very much aware of the evil done, thought and planned. There is nothing hidden from the eyes of God.

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good. (Proverbs 15:3)

So, remember that you are never alone regardless of how you may feel about God the Father and Jesus His Son. He is always present and sees all. So live to brighten His eyes and make Him smile.
