Sunrise Silhouette

Every sunrise is special, but not every sunrise brings with it all the components for a great photo in Cades Cove. This was a clear-sky morning but there was a nice layer of fog in the valley. As the sun rose over the mountain and flooded Cades Cove, even the silhouette of a bare tree became beautifully illuminated. And since I was the only one standing in that exact spot at the time, the Lord provided it JUST FOR ME.

I am continually amazed at what the Lord reveals to me through nature and His Word. Darwin White, a Facebook friend, says that nature is God's second book (after the Bible, of course) that reveals the character of God. He is Light and He penetrates through the fog that we sometimes find ourselves in. As we lay ourselves bare and exposed to His truth, that light floods over us and around us and through us for His glory.
