When There Seems to Be No Way

I like shooting bridges. I guess there's just something about crossing over from one side to another that reminds me of the challenges we encounter daily and the many ways God graciously provides to get over them.

So we have a choice when we experience difficulties. We can dwell on the PROBLEM or we can dwell on the PROVIDER.

In the book written the the Christians living in Philippi, Paul wrote "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6)

Look at those encouraging words more closely:
* Do not be anxious about ANYTHING.
* Pray and give thanks in EVERYTHING.

That's the key. Pray more. Worry less. Don Moen wrote a song years ago that has ministered to countless lives, written during a very difficult time in his family:

God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way
