Night Lights

Fact: Stars exist in the heavens 24 hours a day.

Okay, that should not be a great revelation to most of you. However, it is not until the sun disappears beyond the horizon that these heavenly bodies shine in great splendor. In fact, it is when the night is at its darkest that the star lights shine their brightest (from a human perspective).

Likewise, as the world continues to become spiritually darker it should be that your light -- the light of Christ in you -- shines the absolute brightest. So, shine on! Darkness can never overcome light -- it only makes it more evident.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. ~John 1:5 and Matthew 5:16
