Barnyard Days

There's something about a barn that brings to mind a less complicated era. Although, for those raised on a farm the memories may be of long, hard days of work in the fields... but also of family, cooperation and community.

May these structures remain for generations to come as a reminder of a time without cellphones, the internet and GPS. People talked face-to-face, wrote letters to each other, and GPS was God's Plan for Salvation... yes, people trusted God to show them the way through this life and into the next.

Psalm 16:11
You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.

May we return to the values learned and shared in those barnyard days, and may we pursue God's way which promises joy and the pleasures of life eternal. Amen.
